LA MANGA CLUB

Since its inauguration in 1972, La Manga Club has firmly established its place as one of the world’s great resorts. Within its 1400 acres, there is something for just about everyone, ranging from championship golf and tennis to a superb spa, a junior club for the youngsters and a wide range of other activities.

The setting itself is quite exceptional: the beautifully landscaped resort is set amid rolling hills and bordered by an unspoilt Natural Park. The crystalline Mediterranean fringes the resort to the south whilst the warm shallow waters of the Mar Menor (Europe’s largest saltwater lagoon) are just a few minutes’ drive away.

The resort is home to three of the finest golf courses in Europe and has been voted Europe’s top golf resort on numerous occasions. Over its 37-year history it has hosted five Spanish Opens as well as innumerable national, charity and corporate golfing events. The resort also boasts a luxury spa with a 25-m indoor pool, fitness centre and 13 deluxe treatment rooms, more than 20 restaurants and bars offering a tantalising choice of global cuisine, as well as a 28-court Tennis Centre, paddle tennis, squash, a professional Football Centre, swimming pools, a Mediterranean beach cove, miles of stunning trails to walk or ride and a host of other sports in a year-round Mediterranean climate.

Accommodation is of an equally high standard with both hotel and self-catering options available:

Located adjacent to two of the three championship golf courses, the 5* Hotel La Manga Club Príncipe Felipe offers 192 beautifully designed guestrooms, Royal Club rooms and suites with wonderful golf or pool views. In 2007, the hotel unveiled its stunning new look, the work of interior designer, Jaime Beriestain.

Set in a privileged hillside location adjacent to the spa, Las Lomas Village offers a choice of stylish, fully equipped apartments or serviced guest rooms, ideal for family holidays or a sporting get-away with friends.

Children are also well catered for, with a superbly equipped Junior Club (open year-round), professionally coached holiday sports academies (golf, tennis, dance, cricket and football), indoor and outdoor pools and a host of fun activities for all ages.

The perfect destination at any time of year for a golf holiday or sporting break with friends, a fun-packed holiday for the family, a romantic getaway, a business conference or an incentive, with all the service and sophistication you expect from a world-class resort.
