The Connaught

For over a hundred years the Connaught has consistently celebrated its priceless location and coveted heritage. Today it benefits from a multi-million pound restoration, which has created a unique, uncluttered and discreetly grand experience.

Leading interior designers have applied creativity, while respecting the hotel's remarkable legacy. Skilled artisans have restored the remarkable original features, while integrating contemporary art and other details which make staying at the Connaught an unforgettable experience.

The hotel is situated on the corner of Mount Street and Carlos Place, at the heart of Mayfair Village.

Classic and contemporary details blend effortlessly across all our suites and rooms, providing 21st century luxury in grand and sumptuous surroundings. All rooms and suites have been recently refurbished by leading designer Guy Oliver. Beds are dressed in luxury Italian linen with cashmere throws, damask curtains, striking inherited and bespoke furniture designed to fit the individual style of each room and suite.

Hélène Darroze, one of France's most distinguished chefs, is at the helm of the Connaught's kitchens and the Connaught's love affair with gastronomy has entered a new, exciting phase. Hélène is inspired by authentic regional and seasonal flavours, with roots in her native Landes region of South West France. Hélène Darroze at the Connaught has been spectacularly designed by India Mahdavi.

With sweeping views of Mount Street, Espelette offers Hélène's signature dishes inspired by ingredients from the town of Espelette and her native south-west of France, in a more informal setting. Relax and watch the Mayfair village life go by from the stunning conservatory created by visionary New York designers for this relaxed all day dining, brasserie-style restaurant. The Connaught's delicious ffternoon tea can also be enjoyed in this pretty setting.

Hélène is also responsible for the Michelin-starred menus in the state-of-the-art private events spaces.

The Connaught Bar in Mayfair is David Collins' 21st Century interpretation of the original Edwardian architecture. The award-winning cocktails combine the finest traditions of the past with innovative new twists. The cocktail menu is a fusion of tradition and innovation using exclusive vintages and limited edition champagnes, spirits and liqueurs.

Chic, comfortable and intimate, The Coburg Bar specialises in timeless cocktails spanning three centuries, classic wines, armagnacs and champagnes. Parisian designer India Mahdavi has added to the comfort of the Coburg Bar with her signature contemporary touches.

The Connaught welcome Aman's first foray into Europe in the Aman Spa, their first urban spa in the world outside of one of their resorts. The result is an oasis of tranquility which reflects the hotel's inimitable style and Amanresorts' Asian inspired aesthetic. Guests can choose from key treatments reflecting the renewing traditions of China, Thailand, India and the Americas. In addition to its five luxurious candle-lit treatment rooms, the spa boasts a dramatically lit 60 square metre swimming-pool and a fitness studio with the very latest in Technogym equipment.
