Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Tourism Board

Launch of the “Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong” (MEHK) Office

of the Hong Kong Tourism Board

The MICE sector in Hong Kong has gathered momentum in recent years, consistent with the city’s development as a global hub for trade, business services, aviation and finance, and as a cosmopolitan world city destination in its own right.

The Perfect MICE Destination that makes everything possible

Located at the heart of the world’s fastest growing economies, Hong Kong is widely recognized as the world’s premier destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions. Here, sophisticated infrastructure, easy accessibility (visa free for 170 nationalities), a business-friendly environment, world-class venue choices, professional expertise and a vibrant lifestyle converge to make any MICE destination decision a simple one.

For Meetings & Incentives, Hong Kong is an excellent reward for a job well done. It offers numerous possibilities for venue, itinerary and team activities to maximise team performance. This melting pot of wonders will revitalise and recharge your incentive winners, motivating them for greater achievements when they return.

One of Hong Kong's advantages for conventions is having such a wide selection of venues and hotels. Professional bodies and international organisations find the dynamic environment and proximity to Mainland China help attract participants of the highest calibre from all over the world, who have unbeatable opportunities to exchange knowledge and establish contacts in Mainland China and regionally.

The city is already home to some of the world’s biggest trade fairs, offering access to suppliers in Mainland China and Asia’s busiest manufacturing hubs, as well as showcasing the latest international technology and know-how to the huge Asian markets.

Hong Kong also offers visitors an abundance of ways to unwind when their work is done. So get set to discover a fascinating blend of Eastern and Western culture, amazing attractions and superb shopping and dining. All just moments away from some of Asia’s most spectacular island and country parks.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board has recently established the MEHK (Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong) office to continue strengthening our reputation as a premier location in Asia for MICE visitors through its local and overseas network.

The “Meeting and Exhibition Hong Kong” office is charged with the following key strategic focuses and deliverables:

A) Provide one-stop professional support and customised services for the MICE sector including business building, advisory services and marketing support.

B) Offer value-added hospitality programmes and services for MICE organisers and participants.

C) Strengthen the branding of Hong Kong as the MICE destination in the Asia Pacific region by launching a new integrated marketing campaign named “Hong Kong – Converging Possibilities” and conducting overseas promotions with the industry and MICE travel trade.

Together with the territory’s many highly qualified professionals and famous ‘can do’ attitude, the MEHK team is dedicated to helping you before, during and after to ensure your event is a success. For more information, please contact us at mehk@hktb.com.
