Singapore - a dynamic destination for business events

Welcome to a world of immense possibilities, where people, technology and ideas converge to create great value for your business.

Located at a geographical vantage point, Singapore attracts global businesses and is seamlessly connected to almost every part of the world.

An amalgamation of cultures, robust commerce, leisure and lifestyles, visitors will be enriched by the vibrant exchange of knowledge in this fertile business ecosystem.

Enriching Your Business and Engaging Your people

Being at the right place at the right time can spell success for your business. Where else can that be but in Singapore.

Here, you can expand your networks by connecting with the more than 7,000 multinational companies and gain entry to the fast-growing Asian markets and beyond. And there's no better time than now. With Singapore's excellent location and strategic trade links, abundant prospects and opportunities for knowledge exchange are all within your reach.

Ranked the Top Convention City in Asia for 23 consecutive years by the Union of International Associations (2005) and the World's 3rd Top Convention City by the International Congress and Convention Association (2006), Singapore continually attracts high-profile international business events. This includes the 117th International Olympic Committee Session and the 2006 Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group.

Yet, we're not resting on our laurels.

Singapore is continually reinventing herself. Already equipped with world-class convention and exhibition facilities and accommodation, event organisers will have even more choices with the completion of the Marina Bay Sands by the end of 2010 and Resorts World Sentosa.

Singapore is also a city of entertainment where your delegates can unwind and have the time of their lives. Look beyond the façade of business and you'll discover a myriad of unforgettable experiences awaiting your delegates in this dynamic city - rich in contrast and colour but with a harmonious blend of cultures, cuisines, arts and architecture.

The Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau

The Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau (SECB) is a group of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) that aims to establish Singapore as a dynamic business events destination where people, technology and ideas converge to create great value for customers.

As the lead government agency for the business events sector in Singapore, SECB assists business event organisers, corporations and associations by providing comprehensive and impartial information on Singapore's meeting and exhibition facilities, incentive venues and industry partners.

We help to set up and facilitate arrangements with industry partners, including coordinating site inspections and making special arrangements for technical visits and special-interest study programmes. SECB works with organisers and other government agencies to ensure the successful staging of business events. We provide publicity support and offer brochures, visitor guides, maps, blank shells and posters for overprinting of meeting announcements.

To create extra value, SECB offers customised financial support to business event organisers, corporations and associations to stage or expand their business event in Singapore under the BEIS scheme. In addition to encouraging industry partners to develop new channels in-market for business events development, SECB also supports International Organisations who wish to establish a presence in Singapore as part of their expansion into the Asia-Pacific region.

The SECB is a member of the BestCities Global Alliance, the world's first and only convention bureau alliance with eight partners in five continents.
