Two new Peninsula properties which have been in the pipeline for 2023 are on schedule for completion after suffering minor delays.
The Peninsula London and the Peninsula Istanbul will extend the ten-strong 5* luxury hotel group, bringing its first UK and Turkish hotels to their respective capitals.
The £800million London investment will overlook Hyde Park Corner and Wellington Arch in a 190-room ‘luxury resort’ which includes luxury permanent residences.
Managing the interiors is Peter Marino, who, famed for retail inconicsm in Bvlgari, Dior and Chanel, is set to make a permanent style statement in London that will raise the luxury bar.
The equally elegant and luxurious Peninsula Istanbul will sit regally on The Bosphorus in landscaped gardens.
The 177-room hotel is part of a new area in the capital, Galataport, a luxury destination complete with museums and art galleries, restaurants and boutiques and cruise ship port.
Director of sales and marketing there is Özlem Öktem. Ms Öktem also sits on the supervisory board of TUED, the International Events Association of Turkey, that represents ILEA.(the International Live Events Association).
Both Peninsula properties will feature the famous hotel group’s shopping arcade – an entire floor of exquisite retail stores featuring luxury brands.
