charity carols

Charity event organisers within our eventprof community need our support now more than ever. It’s been a tough year for everyone, and in particular for charities and for the people they support.

One brilliant way we can all help charities this year is to support their annual Carol Concerts – this time taking place virtually. The celebrities are all booked in, the choirs are practicing, the churches are ready, they just need an audience. Join in by clicking the links below.

Alzheimer’s Society’s Virtual Carols at Christmas

We will be bringing the sound of joyful choirs, your favourite carols, and readings from very special guests into the comfort of your own home.

On the night our BAFTA Award winning host, Carey Mulligan, will be joined by some very special guests including Oscar-nominated actor Jonathan Pryce CBE, award-winning actor Lesley Manville OBE and distinguished journalist Sir Trevor McDonald OBE.

We will also enjoy “never before seen” performances by Scouting for Girls and musician and composer, Paul Harvey. As well as a few surprise appearances along the way!

You can enjoy all of the festive cheer of Carols at Christmas and raise vital funds for everyone affected by dementia, without leaving the house.

We know that we may not all be able to be together this year, but we can still join together in song.

Come and sing along with our choir, share messages with friends and family on screen and vote for your favourite carol to close the performance.

This annual event is suitable for all ages, and participation is wholly encouraged!

Our Virtual Carols at Christmas concert will be starting at 6.30pm on Thursday 17 December.

Taking part is free, but we ask that you please consider making a donation to support our work.

Any gift you make will directly support the hundreds of thousands of people affected by dementia, who are facing bigger challenges than ever before in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
