Since the venues closures in March 2020 due to COVID-19, our team have been working tirelessly to implement new safety measures for our social visitors and our corporate clients. The measures we have put in place have been in practice since August when we re-opened and we have been safely welcoming guests and events, within the government guidelines, safely since then.
Examples of our venue safety measures include:
Individual colour coded ping pong ball system (ensuring no ball sharing)
Online menus & ordering
Socially distanced table tennis tables
Pre-packaged delegate lunches
Revised floor plans with one way systems and new capacities
Sanitiser available across the venue
Our events team know how important it is to be flexible right now, so we are currently offering Hybrid provisions, flexible deposits and bespoke layouts to suit all occasions and needs.

ARE YOU OPEN AGAIN?
Bounce Farringdon and Bounce Old Street are now open. Opening times may vary from time to time, so keep an eye on the website and our social channels for any updates.

WHY DO I HAVE TO ORDER FOOD WITH MY BOOKING?
In order to adhere to government guidelines, food must be ordered when joining a hospitality venue. Our pizzas are perfect for sharing, with each one feeding 2 people, and if you’re joining us over the festive period we have some incredible packages to get you into the Christmas spirit!
DO I HAVE TO ORDER FOOD IF I'M NOT DRINKING ALCOHOL?
In line with current government restrictions, as a hospitality venue we may only serve alcohol with a substantial meal.
If no one in your group is consuming alcohol, then food doesn’t need to be ordered. However if at least one person from your booking is ordering alcohol, then food must be served to the whole group.
DO I HAVE TO PRE-ORDER FOOD & DRINKS?
Following the latest government guidelines, as a hospitality venue we may only serve alcohol with a substantial meal.
You don’t have to make a pre-order, however as the venues are busy during this time, preordering will ensure your food and drinks are prepared and ready for your arrival. Or you can order from your phone on the day, and no app download is required.
WHY IS THERE A SMALLER MENU?
We have had to reduce the amount of staff in the kitchen, so we are using a smaller menu to guarantee we deliver food for all dietary requirements. We will look to expand our menu whenever possible.
HOW CAN I ORDER FOOD & DRINKS?
You can pre-order, use your phone to order from our menu in venue, and of course our staff will be on hand, with social distancing rules in place.
WHY CAN I ONLY PAY ON CARD?
This is to help minimise any chance of contact for both you and our staff. Not having to handle notes and coins is the safest way to process payment at this time.
ARE YOU TAKING EVENT BOOKINGS?
We are now accepting enquiries and bookings for business meetings, events & conferences up to 50% of our capacity, in line with government guidelines. Please contact our events team on firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
DO I NEED TO WEAR A FACE MASK WHEN I VISIT?
In line with the latest government restrictions all our ping pong tables are considered ‘exclusive areas’, so you will only be required to wear a mask when moving around the venue.
Where possible we ask all guests to adhere to 2 metre social distancing when moving through the venue which helps to minimise risk.
WHERE WILL HAND SANITSERS BE LOCATED?
Hand sanitisers will be located next to each Ping Pong table, as well as placed around the venue for your convenience.
ARE YOUR STAFF TESTED FOR COVID?
Every day our staff will have their temperatures taken. If anyone has a temperature, they will return home and self-isolate.
WILL YOUR STAFF BE WEARING PPE?
Where guidelines require it, our staff will wear PPE equipment. If you have any questions about this, please get in contact prior to your visit.
HOW WILL PEOPLE MOVE AROUND THE VENUE?
We have been busy working on signage, floor markings, one way walkways and spaces between tables, so that when you visit you will feel completely comfortable. All we ask is you are respectful of other customers’ personal space, as well as our staff.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE ANY CONCERNS ON THE DAY?
Please feel free to ask for the manager if you have any concerns, we will do our best to address them. Your safety and enjoyment is our priority.
ARE THE BATS, BALLS AND TABLES CLEANED REGULARLY?
All bats, balls and tables are cleaned regularly – there will be a sign on your table signifying that cleaning has taken place prior to your visit.
