Mariam Abu at has been nominated by her manager, Mercedes Ernst. Mariam is IWA’s Global Events Officer and has been with the association for one and half years where the small team organise meetings, conferences, exhibitions and awards ceremonies globally.
Tell us why you’ve nominated Mariam
Where do I need to start…..ok she’s very precise in the work she delivers, she is always on time, very, very organised, she has a memory like no other, clever. The list is endless!!
What has she done recently to impress you in particular?
We had to cancel some of our larger congresses last year and we turned some of these events in to virtual congresses and she has organised them and ran them like no other.
What would you like to say Mariam?
Mariam, It is me, Mercedes, your manager. If you still remember me. I haven’t seen you in a while. Hopefully, we will be back in the office soon. I wanted to take this opportunity on here to thank you for all the hard work you have delivered over the last few weeks/months and the support you have given to the wider team.
