This October, The BNC Show will proudly support Breast Cancer Now with a dedicated fundraising and awareness stall at our forthcoming event on Tuesday, 14th October, at Mansion House, London.

Held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the initiative has been inspired by BNC Show Marketing Director, Melissa Paulden, who is now cancer-free following her own breast cancer diagnosis and treatment journey last year. 

Determined to raise awareness and encourage others to trust their instincts, Melissa will be hosting the stall to share information, experiences and resources with exhibitors and guests alike.

Visitors to the stall will be able to:

• Learn more about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer

• Access useful resources and advice

• Join the conversation about awareness and early detection

• Take part in a raffle, with fantastic prizes on offer – entry is just £1, with all proceeds going directly to Breast Cancer Now
  
  

Melissa said:
“Too often we dismiss symptoms or assume they don’t ‘fit the textbook.’ If I had ignored mine, I don’t think I’d be here to share this story. That’s why I feel such a responsibility to raise awareness, encourage everyone to #checkyourboobies, and to never ignore their instincts.”

We warmly invite all exhibitors and guests at The BNC Show to stop by the stall, show their support, and help us raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Now, one of two organisations that provided vital support when Melissa was on her treatment journey in 2024. 

She continues: 

"Breast Cancer Now is a fantastic charity and I want to be able to give back to them, however small. They were a lifeline to me during some really tough times and I will be forever grateful to those volunteers at the end of the phone. 

"The events industry is full of wonderful, wonderful people and I know that on BNC Show day we can raise awareness and funds together and do something positive. 

"Thanks to everyone who has supported me so far and especially to Alison from Richmond Hill Hotel who has donated a lovely prize as a highlight of the raffle."
