BNC Show favourites Green & Fortune recently raised an impressive £85,000 for Hospitality Action and London Irish Centre at its annual St Patrick’s Day Lunch at Kings Place.

The event brought together more than 220 guests from across the hospitality industry and London’s Irish community for an afternoon of celebration, connection and fundraising. 

Since its launch in 2019, the lunch has grown year on year, uniting the industry in support of these two charities that provide vital assistance to hospitality workers and the Irish community in London.

Fundraising on the day included a raffle, online auction and live auction, with guests generously supporting a range of prizes. 

Highlights included a luxury London weekend at 47 Park Street, Mayfair, a weekend trip to Paris and hospitality tickets to see Harry Styles live at Wembley Stadium, among others.

The afternoon concluded in true St Patrick’s Day style with live music and a traditional sing-along, bringing guests together for a shared moment of celebration while reinforcing the charitable purpose at the heart of the event.

Supporting Hospitality Action and The London Irish Centre

Funds raised will directly support two organisations making a real difference in their communities. 

Hospitality Action provides essential assistance to people working across the hospitality industry, offering financial aid, mental health services and practical support to those facing hardship. From crisis grants to wellbeing programmes, their work ensures hospitality professionals have help when they need it most.

The London Irish Centre plays a central role in supporting London’s Irish community, offering cultural connections, advice services and community programmes. Its work ranges from welfare and housing support to social initiatives that combat isolation and bring people together.

Since its inception, the St Patrick’s Day Lunch has raised more than £355,000 for charitable causes, highlighting Green & Fortune’s ongoing commitment to supporting the hospitality industry and the communities it serves.
