Laura Rosinska
Joins Meeting Needs Board
In a move set to energise the sector’s philanthropic efforts, Meeting Needs has officially appointed Laura Rosinska, founder of Event Exec Ltd, to its board.
With over 25 years of experience at the sharp end of luxury events and corporate hospitality, Laura is expected to bring a fresh wave of innovation and high-level networking to the charity’s fundraising strategy.
Known for her people-centered approach, Lauren has built Event Exec Ltd on the pillars of integrity and innovation – and she is now pivoting those skills toward the foundation’s vital mission: supporting grassroots organisations that often fall through the cracks of traditional funding.
Lauren shared that her new role is a 'real honour'.
“It is a real honour to join the board of Meeting Needs and support an organisation that is making such a meaningful difference to small charities. The meetings and events industry has given me so much over the past 25 years and I am incredibly excited to give back by helping to raise funds and awareness for causes that change lives. I look forward to contributing my experience, connections, and energy to support the foundation’s continued growth and impact.”
Meeting Needs holds a unique position in the UK. Rather than focusing on global giants, the foundation specialises in awarding grants to small charities. The impact of delivering support to community-level organisations that provide essential services is wide-reaching and supports many good causes that others may overlook.
Lene Corgan, Chair of Meeting Needs, noted that Laura’s involvement will have a huge impact on fundraising, engagement and growth.
“Laura’s appointment reflects Meeting Needs’ ongoing commitment to bringing experienced industry leaders into the foundation to help expand its reach and fundraising capability,” she said.
