At The BNC Show, we’ve always believed that events can be a force for good. Alongside creating inspiring experiences and bringing the events community together, we are committed to making a positive impact wherever we can. 

That’s why we introduced an alternative gifting option for our delegates: instead of receiving a small attendance gift, guests can choose to plant a tree through our partnership with Just One Tree - one of our  #BNCGivesBack activities.

We are delighted to announce that—thanks to the generosity and environmental commitment of our delegates—we have now planted 444 trees through this scheme with 100 trees being donated from our April and October BNC Shows.

Traditionally, our delegates receive a small gesture of thanks for giving up their time to attend our Show, such as a candle or a shopping card. In recent years, we introduced a meaningful alternative either donating to charity or 'planting a tree' with Just One Tree. Many of our attendees chose this option, demonstrating the events industry’s shared commitment to sustainability and climate action.

Each tree contributes to reforestation projects that restore biodiversity, support local communities, and help absorb CO₂ making each opt-in choice a small but powerful act of climate positivity.

Over the coming days, we will be issuing personalised certificates to everyone who chose to plant a tree. This is our way of celebrating your choice and acknowledging your contribution to a greener future.

We donated to Just One Tree on your behalf and here's what a representative replied with: 

The BNC Show's forest now stands at 444 trees. But more than just a number, your forest creates rural employment, gives homes to wildlife and marine life AND will absorb approximately 136.75 tonnes of CO2 as it grows.

Your support means another 100 trees added to a reforestation project in one of our key countries, such as Brazil, Madagascar and Kenya as well as kelp regeneration off the coast of the Philippines and Australia.
