HISTORIC KING'S CROSS LANDMARK REIMAGINED AS VISION HALL
Transformed Building Opens June 2025, Bridging London's Past and Future
Vision Hall
After an extensive seven-year restoration, the iconic Camden Town Hall will reopen in June 2025 under the simplified name "Town Hall." This renewed civic space in King's Cross houses Vision Hall—its premier event destination—at its heart. Town Hall offers a comprehensive experience including flexible event venues, curated experiences, a members' society, and cultural programming, all within a historic setting that blends rich heritage with state-of-the-art facilities.
The neo-classical building, designed by Albert J Thomas and opened in 1937, has been at the heart of local government and cultural life for over eight decades. Award-winning British designer Tom Dixon has created three distinct spaces within the venue: the grand Vision Hall with 13-metre ceilings and original parquet flooring; the contemporary Inner Space featuring glass atriums; and The Network, offering an intimate setting with access to a private terrace overlooking Kings Cross St Pancras.
"Vision Hall fills a critical gap in London's event landscape—a venue with genuine historical character that doesn't compromise on modern capabilities," explains Managing Partner Joseph D'Anna. "The building's transformation mirrors King's Cross itself—honouring its industrial heritage whilst embracing its future as a hub for innovation."
The venue's technological infrastructure, developed with Pixl Evolution, includes a fully integrated digital environment that supports seamless transitions between in-person and hybrid events, reflecting the evolving needs of modern corporate gatherings. The main hall can host 1,100 standing guests or 420 for seated dinners, whilst adaptable spaces can be configured for everything from product launches to intimate gatherings.
Culinary offerings, managed by Rhubarb Hospitality Group, focus on locally-sourced ingredients and zero-waste menus. Each event space includes dedicated kitchens, enabling simultaneous dining experiences across multiple events.
"We've designed Vision Hall specifically to solve challenges that event planners repeatedly face in historic London venues—insufficient power capacity, inflexible spaces, and venues that aren’t designed with production in mind" adds D'Anna. "Our programmable lighting systems and movable partition walls mean the space can transform from a daytime conference to an evening gala without compromise."
Located just three minutes from King's Cross and St Pancras stations, Vision Hall offers unparalleled accessibility for international and domestic guests alike.
The venue is now accepting advance bookings for events from July 2025 onwards.
