Webvid Agency to showcase new networking technology
at The BNC Show
Event technology specialist Webvid Agency is heading to this year’s BNC Show with a new networking and lead-capture platform designed to make connecting at events simpler.
The agency will be exhibiting at The BNC Show on 29 October at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, where it will be demonstrating its new SayHiTo technology to event professionals.
Neil Bentley, Managing Director of Webvid Agency, said the company continues to support The BNC Show because of the quality of the audience and, above all, the opportunity to build genuine relationships.
“For us, The BNC Show is all about the people,” he said. “It’s one of those rare events where you get the opportunity to meet, chat and build relationships with senior event professionals who are actually making the decisions.”
Webvid Agency will be showcasing a range of its event-focused services at the show, alongside its CrowdApps and growing portfolio of event technology. Its work spans podcasting, creative services, badging technology, audience engagement and event tech.
Neil said the opportunity to demonstrate technology in person was particularly valuable.
“We work in a very hands-on industry, so being able to talk about our latest ideas and technology is great, but being able to actually show it working there and then is even better,” he said.
He added that The BNC Show provides an opportunity to understand what event professionals are looking for, rather than simply presenting products and services.
“Whether it’s creative, event tech, badging or audience engagement, The BNC Show gives our team the chance to have proper conversations, understand what people need and demo solutions instantly.”
According to Neil, those conversations have already resulted in new business for Webvid, with the company having made new connections, developed relationships and won new clients through the Show.
A simpler way to network
The company’s main focus at the October show will be SayHiTo, which Neil describes as a new approach to networking and lead capture.
The platform allows attendees to exchange contact details without downloading an app or creating an account. By scanning a QR code, users can create a digital card and connect with other attendees simply by scanning.
New contacts are then collected in one place, ready to be saved or exported after the event.
For Neil, the simplicity is the key selling point.
“It’s designed around something we think event technology sometimes forgets: keep it simple,” he said.
That philosophy will be put to the test at The BNC Show, where visitors will be able to experience SayHiTo for themselves rather than simply being given a demonstration or sales pitch.
“Rather than us standing there explaining how SayHiTo works, you’ll be able to scan, connect and experience it for yourself,” said Neil.
With more than just technology on offer, Webvid is hoping the show will once again provide an opportunity for meaningful conversations with the people shaping the future of corporate events.
“So come and SayHiTo us on 29th October,” Neil said. “Quite literally.”
The BNC Show takes place on Thursday, 29th October, at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms.
Event professionals can register to attend, while suppliers looking to meet senior event decision-makers can find out more about exhibiting at the show at www.bnceventshows.com.
