It’s a hard thing for us to admit but sometimes you have to take five from the networking at a busy event and rest, recharge and re-energise.
That’s what Lucy Eden of Be in Your Element is teaching the BNC Show team - that taking those vital breaks actually ADDS to your networking ability, not distracts from it.
We are therefore absolutely delighted that Lucy and her team are back with us again at The BNC Show on Tuesday 14th April at Central Hall Westminster, giving our guests, exhibitors, venue staff and even us as a hectic show team a place and space to breath, rewind and unwind.
With over 20 years of experience in the events world, Lucy and her team of wellbeing practitioners are on a mission to shift the wellness narrative in the world of events away from tick-box exercises or fleeting trends and on to creating purposeful moments that energise people and enhance performance. Because when we feel better, we do better.

Just above the noise and energy and the famous hubbub and buzz of The BNC Show floor, the Wellness Lounge offers something different: a calm, welcoming space where you can step away, take a few minutes’ break and tune back into yourself.
Whether you’re an exhibitor, speaker, organiser, or part of the event team, our need for grounding and recentring is the same and the space is open to everyone. It’s particularly valuable for those moments when you need to reset before stepping on stage to present, or after a busy networking session, or simply when your energy dips.
Whether you have one minute or ten, you are invited to ‘surrender the hustle’ and find exactly what you need: a moment of calm, a surge of energy, or a mental reset.
Inside the Wellness Lounge, you’ll find mindful activities and a series of short, impactful live sessions running throughout the day all carefully curated around the natural rhythm (and busyness) of the show.

Each session is just 10 minutes long, a deliberate choice to make wellbeing accessible, practical and easy to fit into even the busiest schedule and the invitation is simple: surrender just a few minutes and feel the difference.

10:00 – Rise & Roll: Morning Mobility
Kickstart your day with a dynamic wake-up for the body. Expect big stretches, mobility and movement to shake off stiffness and get you feeling energised and ready.
11:00 – Touch Down & Tune In
Arrived physically but still mentally elsewhere? This grounding session helps you land in the moment, steady your breath and feel fully present.
11:45 – Breathwork for Busy Event Pros
Learn simple, powerful breathing techniques to calm nerves, boost energy and reset between meetings — tools you can use all day long.
13:00 – Chair Yoga Reset
No mat, no outfit change needed. Gentle seated stretches release tension in the neck, shoulders and back after hours on your feet.
13:45 – Afternoon Energy Lift
Beat the post-lunch slump with a playful mix of movement and breath to reawaken your energy and bring back your sparkle.
14:45 – Breathwork for Laser Focus
Clear the mental clutter and sharpen your focus with a quick breathing reset — perfect for regaining clarity in a busy environment.
Why It Matters
The events industry thrives on connection — but constant busyness can often get in the way of meaningful interaction.
